He not only took the time out to patiently explain to me what needed to be done, but he did not give up on the job until the problem that was almost not fixable was fixed. Great customer service.     “I have multiple rental properties so I have multiple water heater issues. I've learned to always call this place first with water heater issues, as they have one service call price, and often parts are under the water heater warranty, so usually I'm just paying the one amount. Donnie is great to work with. Last time I called and was ready to pay him to go out and look at a water heater, he told me I was better off getting a new one (which he doesn't even sell) and it turned out to be correct. As a landlord, we need to know we can send people out and get a straight scoop, and we can't be there to check the work and get 3 estimates and all that, so this is our first (and almost always last) call.”

  • If we ever have any further issues with our water heater we will most definitely call General Installation.

    “Called General Installation Company at 7am to request a same day service call. Showers are not meant to be ice cold. Was told we would receive a call before 10 am to schedule the repair man's arrival. Jose called at 9:30am and informed us he would be here in aprox 30 min. He arrived on time despite dealing with the 405 during rush hour, which is a task in it itself. Very professional and very polite. Within one and a half hour our water heater was fixed. If we ever have any further issues with our water heater we will most definitely call General Installation and we would most definitely recommend them, in particular Jose, to anyone.”

  • He replaced a part and was able to get it back in order within a half-hour.

    “These guys are awesome. I had a plumber install an American Standard water heater in August, but the water heater had intermittent problems with a filter light going off and shutting of the heater. I worked with Donny on the phone and he arranged the appointment around my schedule. He was always fast and courteous. Juan was the installer and he was prompt, polite and explained what he was doing. He replaced a part and was able to get it back in order within a half-hour. I highly recommend them, and Donny and Juan.”

  • Finally, I called General Installation and was so happy at their quick response.

    “I was given the number to three plumbers by my warranty company and General Installation was one of them. Because of the reviews, I chose the other two and after two days still did not have hot water. One company was rated number 1 but had a waiting list that would mean that I would go another 4 days with no hot water. The second one was unreachable and I kept leaving messages. Finally, I called General Installation and was so happy at their quick response. Someone was to my house and the water heater was fixed within 1 hour of me calling. I will definitely use them again. Ask for Noe. He's the best and very knowledgeable and friendly.”

  • WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND!!!!!!

    “I purchased a Rheem water heater just over a year ago. It started leaking and was told by Rheem that they would replace the water heater but I needed to find someone to install it. After calling several places with no luck, I called Josh from General Installation. He was so kind and helpful and went out of his way to contact another plumbing company to get my heater replaced. I am really grateful for his time and help! WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND!!!!!! Thank you Josh!!!”

    “I was referred by another plumbing company (a great one, Economic Plumbing and heating, I gave THEM 5 stars). They figured out that my water heater was still under warranty and sent me to General Installation. General said they couldn't get out here that day (it was already pretty late) but they'd come the following day. The following morning, since I hadn't heard from them, I called and discovered that someone would be here between 1 and 2. At 1:30 Emir arrived. He was so GREAT, explained everything so well, gave us some other tips, fixed it! He called later in the day to make sure we still had hot water (we'd been having intermittent problems). We did. We do. Cheap, too. Flat fee, no fooling around.”
